It’s been called Zion, Paradise, the Great Beyond, and the Pearly Gates. Most people, though, simply call it heaven. It’s a place many dream of and wonder about, but few have an understanding of what it will really be. The word itself invokes images of the angels and wings, clouds and singing. But what will heaven truly be like? Will the streets really be lined with gold? Are the gates truly made of pearls? Will we simply be given a cloud and a harp and told to live happily ever after?
